Responsibilities include developing and delivering family centered casework services to children and families, transition services for residential clients entering foster care or returning to biological families and to meet mutually established goals that promote stability and permanency in the best interest of the child, completing reports, attend child and family staffings, court hearings or other activities necessary to coordinate client services and ordering psychotropic medication, consents and scheduling psychiatric appointments. Responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day work of family workers and family support workers, providing support, information and back-up, while ensuring quality and timely delivery of service; providing consultation and supervision to staff to facilitate problem solving on service delivery issues; working collaboratively with biological parents, foster parents, and other community resources; monitoring timeliness and quality of necessary paperwork and documentation, and providing technical assistance.
