Dawn Varadi was the Older Youth Liaison for Rock Island and was
very passionate about the older youth she was able to work
within this role. We believe supporting teens will be the best way to
memorialize Dawn.
This fund will benefit the older youth in Foster Care at The Center
for Youth & Family Solutions. The funds are available to older
youth in care aged 12 years and older for all CYFS sites including older
teenagers preparing for college, moving out on their own or parenting
teens. This fund will help provide items not available to them through
other current funding sources such as furniture for first apartments/
homes, paying for college visits, supporting hobbies/activities/
extracurriculars to support well-being, as well as other needs.
