The Center for Youth and Family Solutions “Blues for a Cause” benefit concert has been rescheduled for December 19 at Peoria’s premier concert venue, the Limelight Eventplex!
The lineup remains unchanged, with rock-revivalists The Kris Lager Band opening the show at 7:00 p.m. and Louisiana bayou blues guitarist and Telarc recording artist Tab Benoit taking the stage at 8:15 p.m. for a 90-minute set.
“The Benoit tour had to move some dates around and we are really excited we are now being given a Friday night date,” said CYFS COO Tony Riordan. “This is a chance to see a modern day blues legend – you will not want to miss the party.”
Tickets range from $20 for general admission to $35 for VIP seating, and there isn’t a bad seat in the house! Tickets are on sale now through ticketfly.com or by calling 309-323-6600.
Tickets purchased for the original show date will be honored for the rescheduled date. Those who had already purchased tickets should contact Limelight Eventplex with any questions.
Proceeds from the concert will benefit children and families in crisis served by CYFS, which helps over 20,000 children and families in need in 37 counties across Central Illinois.
